FROM THE WEST
Take Rt. 78 east to Exit 44 reading “New Providence/Berkeley Heightsâ€.
At end of ramp, turn left onto Glenside Avenue.
Go to first left (approx. 0.5 mile) and turn left onto Glenside Road.
Go under Rt. 78, up a steep hill, and down the other side.
At traffic light, turn right onto Mountain Ave.
Go to seventh left (approx. 1.2 miles) and turn left onto Division Ave.
Go to fourth right (approx. 0.5 mile) and turn right onto Blackburn Rd.
Follow Blackburn Rd. to the stop sign at Valley View Ave.; field is on the right.
FROM THE EAST
Take Rt. 78 West to Exit 48 for Rt. 24 West (towards Morristown). (Note: you can only take this exit from the local lanes.)
Take Rt. 24 West to Exit 9A (reading "Millburn, Springfield, Summit").
Bear right at end of ramp onto Broad St.
Go thru traffic light, and go approx. 0.5 mile to blinker.
At blinking yellow light, go right onto Springfield Ave.
Go approx. 1.5 miles on Springfield Ave. This will take you up a steep hill, under a railroad bridge and through the center of Summit.
After going thru five traffic lights, turn left just after the Grand Summit Hotel; this will put you on Blackburn Rd.
Follow Blackburn Rd. for approx. 0.7 miles. You will pass Oak Knoll School on the left and then arrive at Franklin School. The field is just past Franklin School on the left side.
FROM THE NORTH
Take Rt. 287 South to Exit 37 for Rt. 24 East (towards Springfield).
Take Rt. 24 East to Exit 7 for River Rd., Summit.
At end of exit ramp, merge onto River Rd.
Go approx. 0.7 mile to second traffic light. Turn left at light onto Morris Ave.
At third light, turn right onto Springfield Ave.
Go through one light, then turn left just after the Grand Summit Hotel; this will put you on Blackburn Rd.
Follow Blackburn Rd for approx. 0.7 miles. You will pass Oak Knoll School on the left and then arrive at Franklin School. The field is just past Franklin School on the left side.
FROM THE SOUTH
Take Route 287 North to Route 78 East.
Continue as in directions FROM THE WEST.
OR
Take the Garden State Parkway North or New Jersey Turnpike North to Route 78 West. (Note that if you take the GS Parkway north to Route 78, there is no exit directly onto Route 78 West. You will have to take Route 78 East for about a half mile to the first exit, and then get back on Route 78 West.)
Continue as in directions FROM THE EAST.

FROM THE WEST
Take Route 78 East to exit 45-Glenside Avenue.
At end of ramp, turn left onto Glenside Ave and cross over Rt. 78.
Entrance to fields is 2/10th mile ahead on right. You will only see the back of a sign that says "Welcome to Watchung Reservation"-but nothing is on side you see as you approach the drive. If parking lot is full, drop off your kids, and park on Glenside Ave, eastbound side only.
FROM THE EAST
Take Route 78 West to Rt. 24 West (towards Morristown).
Take 1st exit (Exit 9A reading "Millburn, Springfield, Summit").
Bear right at end of ramp (traffic light) onto Broad St.
Go thru light, and up moderate hill; continue thru blinking yellow light.
At next traffic light (Exxon Station on left corner) turn left, and immediately turn right at the next light onto Morris Ave.
Start up the hill and turn left (see signs for Rt 22 & Rt 78 West) onto Glenside Ave.
Road splits just after the turn - bear right onto Glenside Ave. (see sign for Rt 78W)
Field is approximately 3/4 mile on the left (see “Welcome to Watchung Reservation†at top of driveway). Pull into the lot. If you cross Rt 78 overpass, you have gone too far. If parking lot is full, drop off your kids, and park on Glenside Ave-eastbound side only.
FROM THE NORTH
Take Route 287 South to Rt. 24 East (towards Springfield).
Take Exit 9A (reading "Broad St., Summit").
Go to the stop sign at the end of the ramp; go straight.
At the light, turn right onto Broad St.
Go up moderate hill; continue thru blinking yellow light.
Continue as in directions FROM THE EAST.
FROM THE SOUTH
Take Route 287 North to Route 78 East.
Continue as in directions FROM THE WEST.
OR
Take the Garden State Parkway North or New Jersey Turnpike North to Route 78 West. (Note that if you take the GS Parkway north to Route 78, there is no exit directly onto Route 78 West. You will have to take Route 78 East for about a half mile to the first exit, and then get back on Route 78 West.)

Turn left at the light onto Morris Avenue.
Proceed on Morris Ave. through 4 traffic lights. At the 5th light, turn right onto Maple Ave. (Summit Board of Ed and the Middle School are on the far corner).
Proceed on Maple Ave. for 3 blocks to Ashland Ave. (blinker light).
Turn right on Ashland.
Memorial Field is on the left in about 0.2 miles.
For easy parking and access to fields, turn left on Tulip (second left after turning onto Ashland, proceed one block (just past Brayton School) and turn right. The lower field is by the playground.

FROM THE EAST
Take Route 78 West to Route 24 West (towards Morristown).
Take Exit 8 (“Summit Avenue:); at light turn left onto Summit Ave.
Go approx. 1 mile into downtown Summit.
Go thru 4 lights in downtown; Summit Middle School is on right.
After passing Middle School parking lot, turn right onto Oakland Place. The field is on the right side.
FROM THE NORTH
Take Route 287 South to Rt. 24 East (towards Springfield).
Take Exit 8 (“Summit Avenue:); at light turn right onto Summit Ave.
Go approx. 1 mile into downtown Summit.
Go thru 4 lights in downtown; Summit Middle School is on right.

From Route 24 East or West exit on to River Road (an extension of the JFK Parkway that passes the Mall at Short Hills) and proceed thru 1 traffic light. At the bottom of the hill (opposite Shell Station) turn left onto Passaic Avenue. Continue on Passiac Ave through 1 traffic light and take the 2nd left, after the light, onto Beekman Rd (after passing under the 2nd railroad bridge). Proceed on Beekman Rd to the Summit Child Care Center (formerly Wilson Elementary School). The field is behind the former school.
