  1. SSC Parent Manager Duties: http://www.summitsoccer.org/Page.asp?n=148063&org=POSTA.SUMMITSOCCER.ORG
    1. Generally, the role of the PM is to enhance the experience for the players by being a supporting point of contact to keep the team organized.  This should be done in collaboration and tandem with the Head Coach.

  1. Pre-Season – Align with HC about scheduling league games, pre-season tournaments/scrimmages etc and communicating the schedule to the team – HCs are increasingly taking the lead in all respects.
    1. What app/platform to use to communicate and organize teams? Many of us use TeamSnap but there are others – e.g., PlayMetrics, JerseyWatch etc

  1. In season- Align with HC to send regular/weekly reminders to the team about upcoming games/practices
    1. PM supports HC in any way possible, as needed- manage the players from time to time, seek out more soccer (tourneys, scrimmages, team-building activities)

  1. Ensure game day rosters/passes/ref fees are presented for each game and walk the field prior to the game to ensure it is in safe playing condition (eg., make sure goals are secured to the ground, any ditches/drains are identified and approved by ref as playable, debris removed, etc.)

  1. If the team has a home field game, PMs for first/last teams on the playing site will be responsible for flags setup/returning to shed.  Davida Hogan will send out weekly assignments - davidahoganssc@gmail.com

  1. Post-season – celebrate & recognize the team / plan EARLY for off-season soccer development opportunities!!!
